May Swenson (USA, 1913-1989)
Domanda
Corpo mia casa
mio cavallo mio cane da caccia
cosa farò
quando voi sarete caduti
Dove dormirò
quale cavallo monterò
cosa andrò a cacciare
Dove posso andare
senza il mio cavallo
sveglio e veloce
come posso sapere
se si nasconde
nella boscaglia
pericolo o tesoro
quando il corpo mio
cane radioso sarà morto
Come sarà
essere nel cielo
senza tetto né porta
né vento per gli occhi
Dietro le nuvole girovaghe
come faccio a nascondermi?
Said (Iran/ Germania, 1947-2021)
Sii notte per me
Ci sono delle stelle cadenti,
amata,
che sanno la vita a memoria.
Più tardi penseranno che tu sia
una paillette persa.
Il cielo
vorrà aver dimenticato il tempo
quando tu eri la sua ospite.
Question
Body my house
my horse my hound
what will I do
when you are fallen
Where will I sleep
How will I ride
What will I hunt
Where can I go
without my mount
all eager and quick
How will I know
in thicket ahead
is danger or treasure
when Body my good
bright dog is dead
How will it be
to lie in the sky
without roof or door
and wind for an eye
With cloud for shift
how will I hide?
Sei Nacht zu mir
Es gibt Sternschnuppen,
Geliebte,
die das Leben auswendig lernen.
Später hält man dich
für eine verlorene Paillette.
Der Himmel
will die Zeit vergessen haben,
da du sein Gast warst.

Ancora una volta: belle, le poesie in edizioni bilingui. Sarebbe anche bello aggiungere in futuro poesie bilingui in francese e spagnolo.
Gentile Paolo vengo incontro al suo desiderio:
Fiori avvizziti
Svanita ogni ombra che per l’intera
notte ha tormentato il mio cervello
e la luna che a tratti fuggiva,
l’alba penetra nei miei occhi
la luce grigia delle nuvole.
Scendono i ricordi come coltelli
che mi trafiggono fin le mani
abbandonate sulle lenzuola.
Fiori avvizziti
nel cespo dei giorni
spandono ancora il profumo
della vita amorosa di cui vissero
che mi nascondeva alla mia solitudine
ma svelandomi poi
che anche l’amore è solitudine.
?
Fleurs fanées
Evanouie chaque ombre qui toute la nuit
a tourmenté mon cerveau et la lune,
qui s’enfuyait parfois
l’aube pénètre dans mes yeux
la lumière grise des nuages.
Les souvenirs descendent
comme des couteaux
qui transpercent mes mains
abandonnées sur les draps.
Les fleurs fanées du buisson des jours
répandaient encore le parfum
de la vie amoureuse qu’ils ont vécu
et qui me cachait à ma solitude
mais me révélant plus tard
que même l’amour est solitude.
?
Wilted flowers
Vanished every shadow that all night
tormented my brain and the moon
which sometimes fled,
dawn penetrates my eyes
the gray light of the clouds.
Memories descend like knives
which pierce my hands
abandoned on the sheets.
The withered flowers
of the bush of days
still spread the perfume
of the love life they lived through
and which hid me to my loneliness
but which revealed me later
that even love is loneliness.
?
Flores mustias
Desvanecida toda sombra que
toda la noche atormentó mi cerebro
y la luna que a ratos huía,
el alba penetra en mis ojos
la luz gris de las nubes.
Los recuerdos descienden
como cuchillos que traspasan mis manos
abandonadas sobre las sábanas.
Flores mustias
en la mata de los días
esparcían aún el olor
de la vida amorosa en la que vivían
que me escondía a mi soledad
que pero luego me reveló
que hasta el amor es soledad.
